Title Page

Title: Centered, bold, and in a large font.

Author Name: Centered below the title in smaller font.

Optional: Subtitle, Publisher’s name, and edition number.

 

Table of Contents

List of chapters with corresponding page numbers.

Helps readers navigate through the book.

 

Introduction (or Preface)

Fiction: Introduces the world or central theme, possibly through a brief prologue.

Non-Fiction: Explains what the book is about, why you wrote it, and how it benefits the reader.

 

Chapters

Each chapter should have:

Chapter Title or Number: Clearly labeled.

Opening Paragraph: Engaging and sets the tone for the chapter.

Body: Contains the main content or narrative. Break up long sections with subheadings or scene breaks.

Ending: Either cliffhanger (for fiction) or a conclusion that transitions smoothly into the next chapter.
